ABDS · Auckland, New Zealand

Website maintenance & management in Auckland.

Keep your website current after launch. ABDS provides website maintenance, content updates and ongoing digital operations for Auckland and New Zealand businesses, with support agreed around your website, online store and day-to-day needs.

What we can help with

A clear owner for the work after launch.

Choose a one-off repair, recurring maintenance or day-to-day content support. We first review the platform, available access and connected services. The scope identifies the covered systems, approvals and checks; an investigation, a repair and a new feature are different pieces of work.

01

Website & content management

Keep service details, product information, images and promotions current. We agree what needs changing and who approves it, then check the affected pages and links. A shared task list makes completed work and pending approvals clear.

02

Ecommerce & campaign coordination

Keep product details, offers and campaign pages consistent. We agree publishing dates, content approvals and the checks needed around booking or buying. Advertising spend, creative work and changes handled by other providers are identified separately.

03

Website maintenance & support

Review the website’s current setup and prioritise its upkeep. We agree who handles updates, backups and recovery, which systems are covered, and how issues are reported. Support hours, response expectations and checks after changes are set out before ongoing work begins.

Your starting point

Tell us what needs regular attention.

For a one-off problem. Share the public URL, affected action, when it began and what you expected to happen. Include the platform or current provider if known. Investigation and any proposed repair are scoped before changes.

For continuing support. List the updates your team needs regularly, who approves them and which systems are involved. Agree support hours, response expectations, backup responsibilities and how completed work is reported.

For a larger change. New functionality, a redesign or dedicated SEO work may need a separate project. We explain the boundary before expanding the work. Account access is arranged securely when needed; do not send passwords in the enquiry.

Based in Auckland, we deliver projects online for businesses across New Zealand and around the world.

Discuss website maintenance

Before we start

Your questions, answered.

Can you maintain a website someone else built?

We can begin by reviewing how it is built, what access is available and which services it depends on. This helps us identify what we can support, any work needed first and what requires a handover from the current provider. You can start with the public website address.

Can you help with a slow or broken website?

We can begin with a scoped investigation of the affected pages, devices and customer actions. A problem may involve the website, hosting or a third-party service, so we identify the cause and who can make changes before recommending work. Share the public URL, when the problem began and what you expected to happen. Any repair, recovery work or continuing support is agreed separately.

Can we start with a small task, and how is support priced?

Yes. We can discuss a specific fix or a limited set of recurring tasks. The quote sets out the work, approvals and checks included. Ongoing fees, provider subscriptions and any initial investigation are identified separately. If the scope changes, we agree the additional work before proceeding.

How are changes approved and checked?

We record the requested change, priority and approval before publication. Checks follow the affected journey: content and links for an ordinary update, or the relevant navigation and submission steps for a form change. Where appropriate, agree a backup or rollback approach before implementation.

For a store change, we identify any affected product, cart, delivery or checkout steps and agree the test environment and permissions before testing. We record what was completed, what was checked and any follow-up needed.

Who is responsible for backups and restoring the website?

We clarify whether backups are handled by your host, ABDS or another provider. The support scope identifies what is covered, how often copies are made, how long they are kept, and who can restore them. We also identify any restoration charges and agree how recovery will be checked.

Does support include the domain, hosting and business email?

These may be managed by different providers. We identify who controls each account, who handles renewals and which services are included in our work. Any changes that could affect the website or business email are agreed in advance. Existing arrangements can remain where they suit your needs.

What should I do if the website has an urgent problem?

Existing clients should use the issue-reporting route agreed for their support. For a new enquiry, call 0279088880 and explain what has stopped working and how it affects customers. Support hours and response arrangements depend on the agreed scope. Keep passwords and sensitive customer details out of the initial message.

Can our team still update the website?

Yes, where the website provides suitable editing access. We agree which updates your team handles and which come to ABDS. Tell us about other changes made while a task is in progress so we can avoid overlapping work and check the relevant version.

Does maintenance include SEO or a new website?

Routine support can include agreed content and technical updates. A dedicated SEO programme or a new website or major rebuild has its own goals and scope. We identify when a request is a maintenance task and when it needs a separate project.
